Office365 phishing scams, and in particular OneDrive phishing scams, are common vectors for acquiring login credentials which can be used for intrusions into inadequately-protected networks, leading to data breaches, data theft, and ransomware attacks. Due to the extreme popularity of Office365 in the workplace, users of Microsoft’s online suite of office tools are much more susceptible to phishing attacks than users of other similar suites.
